Laurie started her career as a CPA, working for KPMG. After a few years in the tax department specializing in small businesses, she knew that she wanted to eventually run her own company. In 1992, following a 5 year stint at Rubloff, Inc. as both a financial analyst and commercial property manager, Laurie started the predecessor company to CDI ( Catalyst Construction.)

Laurie sold the company to Jeff Schneider in January 2022, but remains actively involved in all aspects of CDI Construction – from project management to working with the subcontractors directly. Her commitment to providing excellent service to all clients is exceptional.

Fun Fact

Laurie is equally picky about 2 things: the quality of her firm’s construction work and the quality of the chocolate she eats. Her favorite past time is travelling with her husband, and sometimes grown boys, and finding that perfect dark chocolate bar.
